1. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quote, booking a service, or leaving a bike/equipment with Holy Ground Cycle Worx, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Quotes & Estimates
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued.
Quotes are based on the visible scope of work at the time of inspection.
Any additional work required outside the quoted scope will be communicated and charged separately upon approval.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ownership of goods and serviced bikes remains with Holy Ground Cycle Worx until full payment is received.
4. Late Payment
Any invoice not paid by the due date may incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance, plus interest charged at 2% per month on overdue amounts.
Interest may be applied from the due date until the balance is paid in full.
5. Debt Recovery Costs
The client agrees to pay all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts, including but not limited to debt collection agency fees, legal costs, and administrative expenses.
6. Parts & Supply
Parts and materials are subject to availability and supplier pricing.
Delays caused by suppliers are outside of our control and do not constitute liability.
Equivalent or alternative parts may be used where necessary.
7. Storage Fees
Bikes not collected within 7 days of completion notification may incur a storage fee of $10 per day, unless prior arrangements have been made.
8. Abandoned Goods
Any bike or goods left uncollected for 30 days after notification (and with no communication) will be considered abandoned.
Holy Ground Cycle Worx reserves the right to sell or dispose of the goods to recover outstanding costs, in accordance with applicable New Zealand law.
9. Warranty on Workmanship
Workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of completion.
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or neglect
Pre-existing damage or underlying issues
Third-party modifications after service
10. Liability
Holy Ground Cycle Worx will take all reasonable care while servicing bikes and equipment.
We are not liable for failure of components due to age, prior damage, or manufacturer defects.
11. Risk & Insurance
While all care is taken, bikes and equipment are left on the premises at the owner’s risk.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their own insurance coverage if required.
12. Service Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if a bike is deemed unsafe, or if required repairs are declined.
13. Agreement
Acceptance of any quote, invoice, or service constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
